Classic Chocolate Chip CookiesWhoever invented the chocolate chip cookie should be very, very happy. What other cookie is so universally great?
Lots of cookies are great. I am a cookie monster. But the world knows and loves chocolate chip cookies like no other.
Just because I need to be gluten-free doesn't mean I am going to miss out on great food and certainly not great cookies!
I have made gluten-free chocolate chip cookies from scratch and from mixes. These cookies have been good and delicious and delectable.
I am still eager to find and try a ready-made gluten-free cookie dough. I've seen them in stores away from home when traveling and not able to bake them. I need to find some of these doughs close to home so that I can try them!
In any case, sometimes you need some ready-made cookies. Maybe for a picnic. Maybe to go camping. Maybe just to keep in the cupboard for just the right time.
Well, these are ones you want to have in your cupboard. For any or all of those reasons.
These come seven at a time. Exactly seven in each sealed package. No more, no less. Seven. Don't ask me why.
These seven cookies are very thin in the package. Have you ever seen such thin chocolate chip cookies before?
Don't let that thinness distract you. These are very crispy and crunchy and very, very tasty. Very chocolately. Buttery. Very buttery. Very yummy. I was five cookies in before stopping! Absolutely yummy!
Thin in substance, thick on flavor!
I had hold myself back from going for number six!
It is all about taste! I thought I needed a soft texture for chocolate chip cookies to be truly good. You know... soft and gooey and melt-in-your-mouth.
Maybe not so. Crispy and crunchy chocolate chip cookies have their place too. Especially when they taste like this.
These now have a regular place in my cupboard.
If you have a Trader Joe's in your area, go there. Now. Yes, right now. Get these. Grab a glass of milk. And indulge!
Crispy, chocolatey, buttery, chocolate chip cookie indulgence!
