Back to Nature Gluten-Free White Cheddar Crackers

Flavored-salt Crackers

I used to love crackers. Especially flavored crackers.

The ones with flavored salt covering them so heavily that they were furry.

Flavored salt. Not just plain salt. Cheese flavored salt. Bar-b-que flavored salt. Ranch flavored salt. Any kind of flavored salt.

And because I loved that flavored salt so much, I used to lick my salted-furry crackers clean.

Licked all that flavored salt off. Then I was just stuck with the plain cracker underneath.

Wow. My tastes have changed.

I don't crave crackers the way I used to and I don't crave the flavored salt the way I used to.

But sometimes, even when you need to be gluten-free, a flavored-salt cracker is nice. These fit the bill nicely.

They are round. They are white. They are salted.

Need more?

Yes?

Okay, these are covered with a really nice white cheddar-flavored salt. But not so much to be furry. Thank goodness. That might just ruin a really good, plain, crunchy, gluten-free cracker.

Crunchy and not tasting much like rice. That's a change. It is nice to not have the flavor of rice in every single source of gluten-free carbs.

These are good right out of the box, like when you want to take some camping. Like I did. No chance to make my own crackers before camping, so these were tossed in the food crate.

But they are still versatile enough that you could add a tangy red pepper spread or a tapenade or even some goat cheese.

Cheese on top of cheese-flavored-salted crackers?

Sure! I am the cheese fiend.

When you are looking for a nice, crunchy, tasty, cheesy gluten-free cracker, these fit the bill. As in, they are good. As in, you should try some. As in, go out and find some and try them yourself.

Crispy, crunchy, cheesy crackers! Gluten-free!
